Sensei Jerry Figgiani treated us to an amazing Shorin Ryu Karatedo International Doshi Kai training session on June 29, 2014. Sensei Figgiani led us in kata training, bunkai drill training for fukyugata ni, and some really cool grappling bunkai applications. Sensei Rick Kaufman taught us various sequences from a complex partner flow drill, and Sensei Charles Barrett introduced us to basic striking drills for Eskrima stick fighting. Thank you, senseis, for your hard work and preparation for this Doshi Kai, and a hearty congratulations to all the rank promotions that were presented. Well done, everyone!
