Sensei Hogsette discusses and demonstrates a pad drill for the final sequence in Fukyugata Ni. This particular bunkai pad drill works in a parry-grab technique to clear a limb and set up a punch, followed by grabbing the neck and executing an upper-cut punch. The final hand positions will be similar to the “double punch” position at the end of the kata.
